An Afternoon Full Of Love
ADA’s Star Charity Luncheon was a success, raising more than $200,000 to fund our Memories Café programme for at least another two years. It was an afternoon of exquisite dining and exciting entertainment at ADA’s fundraising gala, the Star Charity Luncheon. ADA receives S$1m donation from Musim Mas
On 4 July 2019, ADA was honoured to receive a whopping S$1 million donation from leading palm oil company, Musim Mas Holdings. The generous donation is set to help improve the lives of those living with dementia and caregivers, and will go towards providing one year of financial assistance for over 300 families who have loved ones with dementia who may not be able to afford the fees at New Horizon Centres.

An afternoon with the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre at ADA Café
On 16 May 2019, ADA Café was honoured to welcome the Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing, as they were in town to attend the Active Ageing Symposium in Singapore. 3 in 4 persons with dementia feel rejection and loneliness, national survey on dementia finds
More than 5,600 across Singapore participated in a survey by the Singapore Management University (SMU) and Alzheimer’s Disease Association, which revealed that nearly 3 in 4 persons with dementia feel rejection and loneliness, and more than half feel that others act as though they are less competent due to their condition.

Using technology to see life through the eyes of a person with dementia
